Dr. Griggs is a board certified Fellow
of the American College of Surgeons and member of the American
College of Phlebology
and has practiced in Vancouver, Washington since 2001. He has a
particular interest in minimally invasive surgical approaches for
improved cosmetic outcome and decreased patient discomfort.
Originally trained in traditional "surgical" vein stripping (typically
requiring general anesthesia), advances in technology and surgical
techniques now allow him to provide comprehensive treatment of varicose
vein disease in the office setting with minimal discomfort using only
local anesthesia. The improvements in recovery time, return to normal
activity and decreased pain are truly amazing.
